Iran stood first with 17 outstanding medals

The 10th Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships which was held in Amman, Jordan, Iran's Junior squad was crowned with 10 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze medals and earned 179 points.

The 10th Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships which was held in Amman, Jordan, Iran's Junior squad was crowned with 10 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze medals and earned 179 points.

According to the Public Relation's department of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation, the 2-day event featured Juniors under the age of 17, was held on July 21_22 in Amman and some 331 fighters from 31 nations participated in the event.
Iranian male Juniors with 99 points (5 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze), winning the title for the first time in Iran's history; while South Korea and China stood next with 110 and 77 points. South Korea with 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 7 Bronze medals stood second and China with 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze stood third place.

Male division
Gold winners: Ali Tavakkoli, Amirsina Bakhtiyari, Alireza Hosseinpour, Amirhossein Bahrabadi and Ali Najafi
Silver winners: Amirreza Motevalled Shahrestani, Pedram Jamshidi, Pasha Atarodi and Hamed Asghari
Bronze winner: Ali Akbari
Iran's male Junior lineup was led by Mohammad Reza Zavvar as the head coach and Hossein Karimi and Vahid Naseri as the coaches.
Female division
Gold winners: Mobina Kalivand, Ghazal Soltani, Anahita Tavakkoli, Negar Esmaeeli and Yalda Valinezhad
Silver winners: Tina Modanloo and Nastaran Valizade
Iran's female Junior lineup was led by Neda Zareh as the head coach and Masoumeh Mohammadian and Leila Khazaee as the coaches.
The event was a G2 one and the gold, silver and bronze medal winners garnished 20, 12 and 7.20 points.
