Master Khalifeh highlights significance of PhD Candidates' participation in International Scientific Taekwondo Seminars

The Taekwondo Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to virtually hold the 4th National and 1st International Seminar on Taekwondo on the occasion of the World Taekwondo Day on September 4, 2020 in collaboration with the Scientific Union of Sport Management and  the Islamic Azad University of Karaj.

According to Seyyed Nemat Khalifeh, the Scientific Secretary of the event; the virtual International Seminar will see the participation of credible international sport centers, Iranian and foreign taekwondo masters, and experts in sport sciences and physical education.

 

Khalifeh told an interview with the public relations department of the Taekwondo Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran that based on an agreement among the Islamic Azad University of Karaj, Iran Scientific Union of Sport Management and Allameh Tabatabei University, the jointly held event would focus on opportunities and challenges posed on taekwondo by the COVID-19 pandemic, and would delve into other issues faced by the Iranian Taekwondo Federation and World Taekwondo.

 

This seminar would grand participants the ISC (Islamic World Science Citation), DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and CVILICA certifications and the English versions of articles would be published as well, further displaying its significance and high credibility, given that the World Taekwondo is also collaborating in hosting the event.

 

During the event, two educational workshops will be held for champions, referees and coaches, potentially having a great impact on promoting their knowledge.

 

Khalifeh has also invited all masters and champions to send their articles to the secretariat of the seminar and has called for their active collaboration.

 

The members of the scientific secretariat of the seminar have been selected from amongst leading Iranian professors as well as members of the taekwondo family.

 

“I predict that in the current situation, the seminar would be well-received and we can use the output of the articles in order to improve the situation of Taekwondo in Iran and the world, Khalifeh concluded.
