Iranian Poomsae Athletes to attend 2020 ISF World Schools Taekwondo Poomsae Virtual Championships

In cooperation with its members, the International Students Federation, the ISF, has organized online sport activities which aim to promote youth to stay active and practice school sport at home.

The Iranian Taekwondo Federation, in cooperation with the ISF, is planning to provide the opportunity for the participation of qualified Poomsae athletes in these competitions.

In August 2020, the Nepalese School Sport Federation will organize the ISF World Schools Taekwondo Poomsae Virtual Championship 2020 under approval of the ISF. As most international sport events have been postponed or cancelled, online sport activities are in the spotlight with an aim of keeping athletes and students safe, active, healthy and motivated to practice their chosen sport.

The 2020 ISF World Schools Taekwondo Poomsae Virtual Championship is an online challenge in which ISF members and young athletes, age groups 12-14 and 15-17 years old, from all over the World are welcome to submit a video content which showcases their Taekwondo Poomsae skills. The online championship and the presentation of the submitted videos will take place on 13-15 August 2020. The deadline for registration is 30 July 2020, and 8 August 2020 for video submission.

ISF World Schools Taekwondo Poomsae Virtual Championship 2020 will be broadcasted on Nepal School Sport Federation YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channel.

This online activity is a great way to motivate the young taekwondo athletes to stay active and participate in the virtual international sport event from the safety and comfort of their home.
