Iran Achieved 17 Colorful Medals in Online Asian Poomsae Championships

The Asian online Poomsae championships' final competitions finished and Iranian national team successfully achieved 17 gold, silver and bronze medals.

The online Asian Poomsae championships held in November 12-14 in two categories: recognized and free style and each country could introduce maximum 2 athletes in each age group.

The Asian taekwondo union broadcasted lively the final judgments' clips and Iranian national poomsae team won one gold, 5 silver and 11 bronze medals.

Sakineh Hooshangi Maher won the gold medal. Atousa Farahmand, Kobra Sakhaei Vatan, Zahra Eftekhari, Hamid Nazari  and Hedayat Arianfar won the silver medals. Raziyeh Aghaei, seyedeh Masoumeh Hosseini, Narjes Sharifi, Marayam Arabi, Mohammad Taghi Hatami, Seyed Hossein Mousania, Akbar Foruzan, Ali Akbar Mohammadi, Ghorban Delshad, Abbass Rezaei and Ebrahim Khavari won bronze medals.

The Competitions were held in the following age groups: 18-30 years old, 31-40 years old, 41-50 years old, 51-60 years old, 61-95 years old and over 65 years old.

In the free style section, athletes in the age group over 18 years old performed their Poomsae forms.

Hossein Ali Nazari as the head coach and Mehdi Samadian Tabar as the coach were in charge of male national poomsae team; Fatemeh Asadpour  as the head coach and Mahsa Mardani as the coach were in charge of female national poomsae team.
