Turkish international tournament in the senior category finished and 7 Iranian female taekwondo athletes participated in two days competitions.

Ghazal Soltani lost to Moroccan practitioner Oumaima El Bouchti in the -53kg final match and seized a silver medal.

Nahid Kiani and Melika Mirhosseini also claimed two bronze medals in -57 and -67kg weight categories.

Zahra Pouresmaeel won a gold medal after defeating Spanish Tania Castineira Etcheverria at the +73 kg final.

Yalda Valinejad and Parisa Javadi also claimed two bronze medals at the -62kg category.

Turkish Open Taekwondo Tournament is considered as WTF G1, where the gold winner earns 10 points and finalist and bronze medal winner accumulate 6 and 3.6 points.
