Lotfi: Present World Champions Redouble My Motive

Iran Taekwondo national team Member says, "The presence of world champions and the top ranked athletes in my weight category redoubles my motives."

 

Iran Taekwondo Federation PR -The 21-year-old Iran taekwondo player speaks about his satisfactory physical conditions before the start of the World Championships, "Thanks God, we passed our compact training and preparatory camps under the supervision of the technical team, and entered Mexico in good physical and mental conditions. In the remaining time leading up to the start of the competitions, we can reach our ideal level of preparation with the support of the technical team while adapting to the climate and time zone changes.

Hossein Lotfi added, "The event of the World Championships is a magnificent arena with a large number of top participating athletes; hard and much efforts are required. Any way I will stuggle with my heart for the gold of the senior championships.

As one of the most technical junior taekwondo players of the world, while taking his opponents into account, said, "my opponents in the second weight category, are from amongst the world's top-ranked taekwondo players including the Olympics medallists and the previous WC champions for that I am much more motivated. I do have big goals in taekwondo, and Guadalajara 2022 can be the first step of the difficult path toward my goals."

Being in the possession of the junior WC Gold, World Cup Gold, Asian Championships Silver and the gold of the ISG Konya 2021, he concluded, " my family and my coaches have worked hard for me. I try my best not to get embarrassed before my loved ones and to repay their favours and efforts with my success in the World Championships."

It is worth mentioning that Hossein Lotfi will compete with his opponents in -58kg on Sunday, 20 November; the last day of Guadalajara 2022.
